i tried updating the drivers, nut nothing worked! Realtek Audio Manager Whenever I try to do a call from my phone on various applications it cancels the call and tells me that there is a problem with my microphone. When i turned off that everything worked fine for me. In the same Properties tab you should note the final option: Uninstall.

It was finding the mic OK when I plugged it in, but the mic I was using had a mono jack plug, and when I changed it for one with a No sound in my Cambridge Soundworks 5.1, which is plugged into the rear jacks, but just fine in my headphones, which are plugged into the front audio jack.
