About Rescue CD and AVG version info. every time I start AVG on my computer it does not start automatically . I also have another method to get back to the AVG 7.5 and uninstall etc ... useful reference Running a Dell XPS M1530 with Vista, and have got as far as deleting all things AVG within the AVG recovery boot disk thing.
I pressed F8 on start-up and it went straight to a list of drives to boot from. Make sure you read up on these tools first, there are plenty of videos on YouTube. No CPU activity, minimal memory usage. If I could make AVG recognize the volume then i could take the files out and reinstall the windows.
